1. Annual WATJ Conference

We are still looking for workshop proposals aligned with our theme of Foundations and Best Practices.
2. WAFLT Regional Workshops
Check out upcoming WAFLT-sponsored workshops, including a FREE workshop on the ACTFL Core Practices hosted by the Kent School District (that’s ME!) Submit workshop proposals for the Spring Regionals at Central Washington or Eastern Washington via the website link.
3. WATJ Scholarship
WATJ is happy to offer up to $500 for scholarships to support members interested in pursuing professional development opportunities. Scholarships are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis and are awarded on a need-based assessment by board members.
Our second WATJ Benkyookai will be on Saturday, January 20th at Bellevue College in Building D-104. See you there at 10:00 am for a round table, free-form discussion. Our proposed starting topic is technology, but please bring your ideas to share and questions to discuss!
